WBU Open Trials 2011
Dates for trials etc in 2011-12.
Pairs who wished to be considered for Welsh Open Teams in 2012 should have applied by 7th July to take part in the 2011 trials, using this form, which explains more about the process and the pairs that are exempted from the pre-trial.
The selectors are expecting everyone who aspires to play for Wales in 2012 to attend the training sessions on September 24-25 in Cardiff or Colwyn Bay.
The selectors have now announced that the top three pairs will proceed to the
Open Trials proper. They are:

The selectors have announced that the team for the first weekend of the 2012 Camrose on 6th – 8th January 2012 at Four Spires Hotel, Oxford, England is:

Non-playing captain Alan Stephenson
Reserve pair Dafydd Jones & Gary Jones
Following that weekend, the selectors announced an unchanged team for the second weekend in East Kilbride, Scotland, on 2-4 March 2012
