Peter Garner-Gray
Peter Garner-Gray died peacefully in hospital on 1st April 2009 aged 68 after a long illness. He served the WBU in the vital role of Chairman of Selectors for the last ten years, and captained our teams on several occasions. Educated at Oundle and Oxford University, he worked as a research chemist for Unilever; he was a cordon-bleu chef and wine connoisseur. He never married.
Peter was very active in Welsh tournaments and always a pleasure to meet. He will be sadly missed.
