First Weekend

This was held at Cardiff bridge club on 25-26 September.

The 11 pairs played 8 board matches against each of the other pairs. Scoring was by Butler IMPs (averaging the middle three results to give the datum), also converted to VPs. Pairs were fined for slow play.

Here is the summary table showing scores in each match and the totals for the first weekend. A small error in the VP for match 8 of Hogg/Maddocks v Thomas/Goodman has been corrected.
